What we collect, why, and our legal basis
- Orders: your name, delivery and billing details, email, phone number (optional) and what you bought. We use it to take payment, deliver, send receipts and tracking, and handle cancellations, returns and complaints. Basis: performing our contract with you.
- Your account (if you create one): name, email, password (stored only in scrambled form), saved address and order history, so you can sign in, track and re-order. Basis: contract.
- Accounts and records: we keep order and invoice records for 6 years for tax and accounting. Basis: legal obligation.
- Marketing emails: only if you tick the box to hear from us. This covers reminders about items left in your basket and “buy again” suggestions. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every such email, or in your account. Basis: your consent.
- Fraud prevention and security: technical details such as IP address and the pages requested, to keep the site secure. Basis: legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the shop, who process data for us: Stripe (payments), the courier delivering your parcel (such as Evri, Royal Mail or Parcel2Go), our email provider (Resend) and our hosting provider (Railway). Some of these are based outside the UK, in which case we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK addendum to standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order records: 6 years. Account details: until you close your account. Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe. If you close your account we remove your personal details, except what we must keep by law.

Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to move it, or to withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
